Class I or Class II Ball Mounts For 1-1/4" Receiver Hitches
Class I ball mounts and Class II ball mounts typically fit in a 1 1/4" receiver and have lower towing capacity. Each 1 1/4" ball mount will need a Trailer Ball added, which is determined by the size of the coupler and the load you intend to tow. Hitch Pins, receiver locks and other accessories are also helpful. When using a ball mount with a drop, decrease the maximum gross trailer weight by 10% for every 2" of drop. CAUTION: May not fit the Ford factory installed hitch or receivers with heavy rounded corners NOTE: Some Class II hitches have a 2" receiver and require Class III accessories. General Rule:
