These Class 2 through Class 4 trailer hitches are designed to fit GMC pickup trucks, including Jimmy, 1/2 ton, 3/4 ton, and 1 ton models. In general, depending upon trailer hitch design (weight carrying hitch versus weight distributing hitch), ratings for these truck trailer hitches match the following (check each trailer hitch description for variations):
- Class 2: 300 lbs. tongue weight with 3,500 lbs. gross trailer weight (see trailer hitch description for details)
- Class 3 & 4: up to 600 lbs. tongue weight with up to 6000 lbs. gross trailer weight (see trailer hitch description for details)
