Mazda Truck Trailer Hitch Receivers Originally named Toyo Cork Kogyo Co., Ltd, and located in Hiroshima, Japan, what we know now as the Mazda car company began exporting its first trucks (a 3-wheeled model) to China in 1931. It wasn't until 1970 that American highways saw their first Mazda truck (the Mazda Capella - it had 4 wheels, by the way). The trailer hitches we carry - manufactured by Hidden Hitch and Putnam - fit later model Mazda trucks. All are coated with corrosion resistant black paint that can withstand harsh conditions. In general, depending upon trailer hitch design (weight carrying hitch versus weight distributing hitch), ratings for this truck trailer hitch match the following:
- Class II: 300 lbs. tongue weight with 3,500 lbs. gross trailer weight (see trailer hitch description for details)
- Class III: 500 lbs. tongue weight with 5000 lbs. gross trailer weight (see trailer hitch description for details)
- Lifetime limited warranty!
