Mercury
Trailer wiring kits on this page fit the Mercury year/models
shown below. These Hoppy trailer wiring kits are custom made to fit without
cutting, soldering, or taping any wire (unless stated otherwise). If
a custom wiring kit is not available you will find a link directing
you to a universal wiring kit or a kit that will let you attach
a simple 4-wire flat trailer plug to your vehicle's wiring harness. Some Mercury
vehicles may also have a universal
"power" taillight converter kit (click here). In some cases a
universal kit or a 4-wire flat plug kit can be substituted for the custom
trailer wiring kit - to save cost - but it is always better to use
a custom wiring kit since it will be faster and easier to install,
and a custom trailer wiring kit always provides a more secure connection. Non-custom
kits usually require you to cut, splice, and tape wires.
