This kit contains a set of diodes that provide a degree
of isolation on the towed vehicle's electrical system from its taillights
so the taillights can be controlled by the towing vehicle. The taillights
can then be electronically isolated and powered without current flowing
into other areas of the towed vehicle. It is intended for use in situations
where you have one vehicle towing another vehicle (such as a motor home
towing a compact car or truck). This allows the taillights of the towed
vehicle to be controlled by (and synchronize with) the towing vehicle.
It can only be used on independant bulb systems (where a separate bulb
is used for turn signal and brake light). Professional installation
is recommended. |
